The German Dance Platform 2012 took place in Dresden from February 23rd - 26th 2012.

The German Dance Platform offered its visitors a broad spectrum of dance productions within just a few days. An expert jury selected the works in advance. The pieces reflected present-day trends and developments in contemporary dance in Germany.

The German Dance Platform's jury has had four members: Kerstin Evert (K3 Hamburg), Patrick Primavesi (Universität Leipzig, Tanzarchiv Leipzig) and Carmen Mehnert (Hellerau).
