In 2026, HELLERAU - European Centre for the Arts is the organiser of the German Dance Platform, which presents current developments and innovative trends in contemporary dance every two years.

An independent jury selected the productions for the program, which will be shown in mid-March 2026 at HELLERAU and other Dresden institutions. Productions created in Germany between September 2023 and August 2025 were considered.

HELLERAU – European Centre for the Arts is delighted to host this outstanding festival, which presents 13 of the most remarkable German dance productions of the last two years and offers a wide range of opportunities for networking, discussion and exchange with "Platform Plus".
